A few things you might try ... get rid of all carpets ! Get an air purifier . Get pillow and mattress covers. Get rid of books, or vacuum them weekly. Leather furniture is better than cloth furniture. Switch to mini blind or shades instead of curtains. Get rid of lots of knick nacks,less to hold dust. Try to sweep and mop floors a couple of times a week . Good luck !!!
I’ve HEPA filters on my HVAC, my vacuum & freestanding HEPA filters.
If the dust mites are biting you, they’re not dust mites.
Here are a few tips from my allergist:
No carpet or rugs
Wash towels and bedding in hot water
Hypoallergenic covers on pillows and mattresses
No drapes
Wash comforters, quilts, and curtains quarterly
Wet dust as much as possible
