How do you change the pressure valve in your hot water system safely?
Got a pressure relief valve in my HW tank in the laundry which drips into the drain every night as soon as the timer switch starts it heating and it drips all nigh. Wasting water and annoying sleepless lil old me. I can flip the lever on it to release some pressure and clear the seat of the valve but it only works for half an hour then drip drip again. Surely I dont need to pay a licenced plumber to come out just to replace this? If I do it myself are there any safety tips to watch out for?
