How to choose a clear sealer for my deck?
i need to reseal my deck and I am confused as to what to buy. I want it to appear natural with no color yet I also know semi transparent is best. Used Thompson in the past so I need something better. Please recommend?

Thompson is recommended to be applied annually.
Check out SuperDeck Exterior Waterborne Clear Sealer by Sherwin Williams. It will protect it from sun & moisture as well as cracking, splitting, & warping but will allow it to "gray".
I have used Thompsons in the past and trouble with it peeling. I won't use it again. I suggest an oil based stain that soaks into the wood rather than lies on the top of the wood. I use Armstrong Clark stain. Best ever! I will never use anything else! www.armstrongclarkstain.com

Thompson's is one of the best. There are many out there. All do the same thing. Just needs to be reapplied every few years as general deck maintenance.
