It resembles Mint plant to me. If you pick a piece of it you will certainly be able to smell it. It grows prolifically , so it could have started on it’s own. I have no idea other than “maybe mint”!
There are apps for your phone that let you snap a picture and it identifies the plant. Two of them are: INaturalist and Plantsnap.
Does it get little flowers on it? It looks like a vinca periwinkle vine to me.
