We have desert roses and we just fertile them with Miracle Grow when we do our other plants... about once every 6 weeks. They are ull of flowers constantly !
You can use regular fertilizer, just make sure to dilute it per the instructions on the container.

Of course, the little ones need special mixes for cactus/etc.
Every place has the special blends for cacti.
