You can use vinegar and water, but only with a damp cloth, and you must rinse the vinegar from the wood. Cloudy films are usually left from cleaning ingredients. It's best to use a cleaner that is made for wood floors like Murphy's Oil Soap. Wishing you the best.

1 tsp blue Dawn
2 gallons warm tap water
