How do you raise your existing cabinets on the floor?
We need to raise our cabinets and put in new countertops because ours are so old when we go to put dishwasher in the dishwasher is standard height but the countertops aren't.

The easiest thing is to add to the top of your cabinets with a coordinating or complimenting color. Add to top rails and along wall for new counter to sit on. The other thing of course is to remove base cabinets and set on a plywood or a short base then reinstall. Add baseboard to cover the wood addition .
We pretty much figured that we are going to have to add base to bottom of cabinets because I am going to lose space between upper cabinets, so hubby is going to have to cut upper cabinets off so I don't lose counter space. Thanks for input.
