I used two large eye bolts. One in the door, and the other into the jamb, tightening the so that the holes would line up, one on top of the other. I had a piece of steel that I used for a pin that I just slide through the eyes.
One thing I have noticed is the back door on mobile homes and modular homes are actually storm doors. That is why they open out. My daughter's modular had one at the end of a hallway. White door, bottom crossbuck, window on top. I eventually convinced her to get a regular door on the inside. I installed it.
From what I remember of my mobile home I understand the issue, can you put a dead bolt on the inside? I had to use a metal brass strike plate in the frame for it to secure sturdy.
