My two bedrooms share one air conditioning duct pipe and it’s not enough to cool them what can I do beside window mobile AC? Anybody have advice

  • It may not be the ducts. It could be the unit itself is not strong enough to cool the space. I would get estimates from at least 3 licensed contractors to see what they suggest. Here is how to hire a contractor.

You could try a stronger air-conditioner or a larger duct pipe going into both homes that might help or a fan leading the air into the room a small fan to blow the cold air in from the pipe

Normally all rooms share the same duct work with a vent branching into a room, more vents if needed. The issue is most likely that your unit isn't performing enough to properly cool the entire area. I would start with getting a tune up on the unit and having the freon checked. Then you can get a recommendation from the HVAC company based on that. This is a good time of year for a check up. In our area many companies are running specials. I've seen them from $29 - $59.
