How do I drill through mortar?
I have a brick wall on my balcony and would like to hang some plants. Can I drill through the mortar (guessing the brick is pretty much a no-no) OR, is there another way to hang a hook?

They make drill bits specifically for masonry. A hammer drill may help, too. You can drill into the brick.

You might be able to use Command Hooks as well.
