Why is my Japanese maple shedding some leaves?

Is that ok in end of May? If not, what other signs should I look for? What’s wrong? Thank you, Barbara

I would check with a local nursery to see if there is something bad happening, but most likely it is OK

  • It's perfectly normal. Look for any signs of pests or disease. Then treat if you find anything. Normal for any tree to drop leaves here and there during the growing season. I just planted one in my yard, they are beautiful and low maintenance.
