I picked up a large leather footstool at a resale shop. It is dark brown, worn, but no holes. Can it be painted?

Hello Bonnie I would use a leather paint. You can use regular acrylic paint but it does not adhere as well to leather. I don't think leather paint is much more expensive than regular acrylic paint.
