If greasy, baking soda & vinegar in a paste for a safe degreaser like GP66.
I use TSP, can buy a Walmart or hardware store. Hot water and TSP, rubber gloves too, takes just about anything off. I’ve taken paint off of base boards, caked on grease off cabinet doors and even took apart an old counter top stove, put the parts in a 5 gallon bucket of tsp let it soak overnight and washed the next day, look like new. Just remember you have to Rinse the TSP off. Paint will not stay on if you don’t rinse it off Good.
I use a damp microfiber cloth. If it is greasy, I use Dawn dish detergent mixed with water.
