How do I kill grass in sidewalk cracks?

Qt of white vinegar 1/4 cup of salt 4 squirts of dish soap put in a spray bottle and spray weeds

A 365 weed killer also works.

One cup of vinegar, one cup of table salt to two gallons water in a garden sprayer. Saturate the weeds till dripping. Do not use on lawn or in garden. Will kill everything. Boiling water on weeds in lawn and garden.

Hi Mary, Spray vinegar onto newly sprouted grass blades in the sidewalk cracks. The acetic acid in the vinegar helps kill the new plants. For older grass blades, use a herbicide that contains a higher concentration of acetic acid. Apply heat to kill the grass and any weeds that sprout either with boiling water or a weed torch.

Mix in a spray bottle. If you have a larger area, you can mix in a garden sprayer with larger quantities. Use when it will not be raining for a few hours so that it isn’t washed away.
