How do I kill flower bulbs without digging them out?
I have a very bad back and they've become intrusive.
Usually those are great for orchids and you would use the clay pebbles or orchid mix. Sometimes I line pots like these with mesh so the pottting mix won't escape.
perhaps use a plastic bag (one that won't disintegrate/breakup)...fill with potting mix/whatever and ease into vase OR get bag into vase first and fill after inserted...happy gardening...Mary
Don't use plastic bag. Water will not drain, get trapped and rot the roots. Use a piece of landscape fabric to line the pot or panty hose.
Hi Jeannine, you can put a layer of burlap, or landscape fabric in there, then put your dirt in. This will help you from losing your soils when you water.
