How can I remove fingernail polish from leather car seats?
I have just a small spot of blue nail polish on my brown leather passenger seat in our new car. UGGGHHH!! Is there a safe way to remove it without damaging or discoloring the seats. The spot was a few days old when I discovered it.

How large is the stain? You could try some dish soap mixed with water first or leather wipes first. I am thinking nail polish won't come off with that but its worth a try first. I would test a small spot on the leather underneath or where you can't see with some nail polish remover or acetone just to see how the leather does.. If it seems to be ok....use it on the spot.
Sometimes you can lift the edge and gently peel it off. Warming it first may help.
Nail polish remover on a q tip
After dabbing with nail polish remover use a permanent marker in the closest shade to camouflage the spot. You can find almost any color at an arts/crafts store.
Great idea! Thank you so much.
