How to plant herbs in jars with no drainage holes?
I found an herb planter at a thrift store. 3 pint jars fastened to an old board. I purchased 3 herbs, but afraid they are too big and no drainage holes? What do you suggest?

Phyllis I love jars! I would suggest not over watering them but to place small stones for drainage so the roots don’t touch the excess water allowing a faux drainage. Hope that helps.
I would recommend putting a fairly thick layer of small rocks along the bottom so excess water can drain into them, and err on the side of less water each time but more often. But don't get your heart set on having the herbs last forever in there... drainage really is key for long lasting plants
I don't have drainage holes in my basil that I have growing in my kitchen. I try to only water it just enough. If you give it enough water to grow, but don't over water it, then it should be ok!
