Helen would you like bright and airy or calming. I don’t like grey it’s depressing. A white with a hue like pink, blues, green etc. what is your decor? Find a color pallet you use and like and go to the paint store to look. If I find a particular color two or three that I like I grab a couple of those samples and paste some up on the wall in different areas. I live with that color for a couple of days and keep checking to see what I like.
Hello Helen,
First of all any colors are good. The question is what color do you like? Neutrals, blues, grays, bright colors? What colors do you currently have in your residence? I personally like blues, grays and cooler colors for bedroom. Some people enjoy warmer tones of Tans, and greens. Here are some suggestions to help you decide.

I would stick with more neutral colors for bedrooms because you want them to be relaxing... I've done done pale gray colors in my bedrooms.
I like using bright and neutral colors in a bedroom to make it feel more open and airy! Here is an example: https://www.aratariathome.com/blog/our-master-bedroom-reveal
