I have heard to use vinegar. I haven’t tried it but I heard it is good at killing weeds.
2 cups white vinegar
¼ cup salt
Squirt of dawn
Mix in a spray bottle. If you have a larger area, you can mix in a garden sprayer with larger quantities. Use when it will not be raining for a few hours so that it isn’t washed away. It will kill the weeds but be careful to not spray on anything you want to keep living.
Use weed killer
Hi Irene - The struggle is real, isn't it?!? This is the most effective all-natural weed killer DIY that we use. It's even been featured on Hometalk! Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

You can dump your boiling cooking water on it after you finish using it, use straight vinegar spray on a hot sunny day, pick by hand, or lay something over it to smother it, but that takes a while and doesn't look great while you wait. You can also use a pressure washer or hoe to blast them out.
Vinegar. Cheap and efficient.

Hi Irene, You can easily pull most weeds if you wet them ground they are in really well. You can also make a solution of 1 cup of salt. 1 tablespoon of dish soap. 1 gallon of vinegar, pour into a spray bottle and spray on weeds, be careful not to get it on plants you love.
Just like vinegar, rubbing alcohol can dry up weeds and kill them. Prepare the solution with one quart of water and two tablespoons of rubbing alcohol, and apply with a spray bottle. It's best to use this solution on a sunny day for better results.
Boiling water for the kill to the root. I have never had much luck with vinegar, dish washing liquid, and salt mixtures no matter what the formulas are.
