My kitchen cabinets are embarrassingly greasy. Please share your degreasing tips with me so I don't have to cringe every time I glance at my cabinets.
Hi jackie, you could try restaining all of it in a darker stain and hoping for the best. Really the only way to truly get rid of those stains though is to sand them out and restain.
Once the stains are gone I would recommend finding a very hardcore wood sealant specific for outdoor high water areas - even an epoxy might be a good consideration.

I always sand the water stains away. Then add new stain and varnish.
