Measure the mirror for length and width. For a bathroom mirror, you don’t want to cover too much of the mirror with a frame, or you won’t be able to use mirror well. Generally, one fourth of the width of the mirror would be the maximum width of your frame.
What could you make the frame from?
Contact paper, other old picture frames, painted your favorite bathroom color, classroom bulletin board edging (Walmart) or DIY it from wrapping paper, or metallic cloth or trim, tree or bush trimmings, wood-patterned tiles or laminate strips, etc. Use a white or clear glue which can be removed later. You could even paint a frame and add butterflies, if you wish. I covered strips of cardboard one time in two widths so I could compare them in the real space. I choose the wider width, and may do that again. I hope your frame turns out well, and that you will share it on Hometalk. Best wishes, Jewell.
