Get some cedar 2x2" or 4x4" lumber and cut them to the height desired off the ground then screw them in from inside the pot with a galvanized screw..... for the smaller legs I would put 3 legs on each side if its a long trough planter.

Hometalk is a great tool. After checking all the youtube videos suggested, I have changed my mind and will go with solid plates for metal casters so the planter can be moved around. I'm so pleased with the all the suggestions, ideas, videos. I thank you all - Hometalk is the best. C.E.
