I have used this for stains in carpet. Test first. 1 cup hydrogen peroxide and a teaspoon dawn dishwashing detergent. Mix it in a spray bottle. Spray it on area let it sit for a minute. Then blot with a damp rag. Do test first. I saw it on YouTube said it works on laundry stains also. Works on my carpet.
I had that problem on brand new carpet!! Here is a post I wrote about what I did.
Apply table salt and white vinegar. Allow to dry vacuum, repeat until stain is lifted. This is what my carpet cleaning man told me to do and it works. Alternative Rug Doctor brand pet stain remover (no need to rent the machine) is also recommended by the same man who had been in the business forever. Try the salt/vinegar technique first and finish with the Rug Doctor spray to remove the final bit of stain if needed. Good luck!
my carpet is Berber, the best thing I've found that works for me, soak up all the urine you can, sprinkle baking soda on it and let it dry, then vacuum it up, I had tried everything and nothing worked until I tried this, works great, takes it right up, but you do have to let it dry before vaccuming.
