Any Ideas for this corner with the wood stove pipe?
I am unclear as to what to do with this part of my house, "The Breakfast Nook".
You can buy kits at most big Home Depot stores or those like it. The only thing is that the lamp MUST HAVE some metal on it. Without any metal you won't be able to make the circuit when you touch the lamp. So if you have a lamp made of all glass or ceramic, it just ain't gonna work...

I was thinking of a different option. They make remote control kits that are special plugs. All you need is to plug the remote receiver outlet into your wall and plug the lamp into it. I've found them at ace hardware
Hmmm... I suppose depending on the fitting size, you could find battery operated candles to fit in the fittings where the lightbulbs go?
