How do I fix the deep scratches on my bamboo floor?
Does anyone how to restore hardwood floors without sanding them? My son dragged a heavy cabinet across my floor and caused some deep scratches and I would like an easy way to fix the area with the scratches.

Vicki, do you have any left over boards from when the floor was installed? If so you can cut into them with a saw to make sawdust. Put the sawdust in a paper cup and mix with wood glue. It should be the consistency of a putty paste and very fine. Putty knife it into the deep scratches and wait for it to dry. You may have to sand it down once dry and to go over it with the finish of your boards. Good Luck. BTW the above ideas are great too.
I believe that you need to replace part of the coating in this place. Or you can buy a carpet to cover your scratch with it. It does not look aesthetically pleasing. I hope that buying rugs or replacing part of the floor is not a very big problem.

I hope that buying rugs or replacing part of the floor is not a very big problem. That would be best in your situation, I think. When we were going to replace the floor in our house on the entire first floor, we turned to the flooring companies, who gave us valuable advice on floor coverings and their design possibilities. We wanted them to look in harmony with the walls.
