Pets, you mean dog and cats?
Liquid Fence will probably keep them away. This deters deer and rabbits..I am thinking it will work with other animals as well. beware it stinks. ha.
Have you tried liquid fence? It works great with deer and rabbits, may work for other animals. It does smell though, so be prepared!
I use this stuff that is called wormpoo, they don't like it cause it smells like blood to them.
Maybe a large jar of CHILI POWDER sprinkled everywhere.
