Every time I put down Mulch it gets washed away when it rains.
What can I do About it.
A weed and feed fertilizer would be the easiest thing to start doing. Some of it comes in a spray form that you can put on the end of your watering hose. Others types come in grannuals.
Don't put weed and feed on a seeded lawn that is within 6 weeks old. It may kill the grass. Use 'feed' only. The weeds will grow too, but the grass will thrive and take over some of the weeds. Then 'weed and feed' in early fall and spring. Right now, you can also use lawn restore / renew spray. It has tons of vitamins and minerals for the new grass. Download the scotts lawn app to help you take care of the new lawn. It has great tips.
Your installer did his job, now you have to take care of it. I know this bc I had the same issue with my new lawn. I didn't take care of it and almost lost it. No need to start over at all, as it just takes caring for it properly. Maybe next summer you will have a perfect lawn, like mine.
