I'm painting a wood desk and want to use Annie Sloan Chalk paint as a base and paint details with acrylic paint, has anyone done this? When would I seal with wax?
I used Annie Sloan white chalk paint and wax. Why does it look yellow?

If you sand the edges, you will have a distressed look with chalk paint, Alice. I think whitewashing will give you more of a 'weathered' look.
