How do you clean inside shower glass blocks?
I have a shower with tile. There is no door and it is open with the wall being made of glass blocks.t The glass blocks on the outside of the shower are fine. however, the glass blocks on the inside of the shower have this film over them. I can scrape the residue with my fingernail. anything I have tried to clean it with just goes right back to a film. Any suggestions to get ride of this film and make the glass blocks look like glass and not a filmy residue? Thanks!

Have you tried spraying with vinegar or rubbing alcohol? That is just soap scum that needs to be cleaned off.

Use a bunch of used fabric softener sheets saturated with vinegar.
Hi Sherry, a mixture of vinegar and concentrated dish soap will work. Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, and add about 1/4 cup of dish soap. Dawn Premium works well because it's highly concentrated. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and top up with water. Shake well and spray down the glass tiles and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again.
Hi Sherry, you can use white vinegar & baking soda to clean these blocks. The baking soda works as an abrasive.
