You had an idea for an outdoor umbrella stand it used concrete in a bucket and placing in a large basin.

Get a piece of pipe metal or PVC slightly larger then the umbrella pole. Center it in the bucket then pour the concrete. Umbrella will slip into the pipe. Some other ideas.
