How do you remove paint from carpet?
I spilled paint on my berber carpet got up what I could but there is still a 8x10 spot still there what can I use to get this up beside putting a rug over it?

Hopefully it is water based paint. Try denatured alcohol. Do a test to make sure it doesn't melt or discolor your carpet. If paint is still wet, just keep rinsing with cool water. Once paint has dried, very difficult to remove.
If you can't get it out, use some spare carpet or take it out of a closet to patch the area. I have done that. I used carpet tape under where the patch will go so that it will be under the other carpet also and that holds it in place.
