You can match the thread to the fabric and sew up the hole.
Take a close up photo of the seat where it's in good condition. Print on t-shirt transfer paper high quality setting. Cut out to line up properly, and cool iron it onto seat. Basically a homemade iron-on patch.
This happened to me many years ago (2002). My hubby wasn't a smoker...and I sure didn't want him to see it! Now divorced with different ride, but I bet somewhere that patch is still there. lol. Good luck. :)
