Hi there, we had a jet tub in our bathroom for a long time and we installed it ourselves. Here's a post that might help guide you or at least give you an overview of the process. https://www.diynetwork.com/how-to/rooms-and-spaces/bathroom/how-to-install-a-whirlpool-bathtub
Just a few side notes. Make sure you get the kind that totally extracts the water after use and has it's own heater. If water sits in jets it will develop mold, if not self heating, will drain water heater to fill and once jets, are on will cool off in 9 min. Don't buy the cultured marble kind, hot water deteriorates the faux marble and they start to leak after 10 years. Do not buy used. A quality whirlpool tub should run about 3500. I strongly recommend getting a soaker tub instead and put you money in a real hot tub that could stay hot as long as you want and be sterile.
I agree w/ Kelli.
You'll also need to reinforce your floor and distribute the load to accommodate 8 lbs per gallon, plus the weight of two large adults.
I had mine embedded in a wet mortar bed to cradle the bottom.
