How can I change the lighting in my kitchen?
I have a horrible fluorescent light in my kitchen. Does anyone have in ideas to replace it with other than recessed lights?

You can hand a long over counter fixture chandelier, 3 or 4 light. Very cool.
Hi Elaine, you can replace it with an LED light, the LED lighting looks and feels like soft sunlight, it is hard to describe, but a much nicer brighter less harsh lighting, and I got one from home depot that is 4 feet long like a fluorescent, so it covered exactly where my old fluorescent was., Very reasonably priced and last for 20 to 25 years! I have attached a picture of mine and the link to it on home depot site. ps I love the look and the lighting it provides!
