Can you cover it with a nylon stocking sonthey don’t get sucked up or a piece of fencing if wire. I would place something near it like a heavy rock so they can’t get close to the intake pump area
Try small gauge chicken wire
Since this is a pond, not a tank, I would use a plastic produce net, like the kind a 5lb bag of oranges comes in.
Any Screen will do.
I agree, any kind of betting or screening material would work, just zip tie it to the inlet of the pump.
