Terry....I purchased a small bottle of grout color at Lowe's and painted mine with a toothbrush and damp rag to remove any I got on the tile. It worked very well. Takes some time but mine was too light so I darken a little and it helps with stains as they don't show as much. Just a thought....good luck!
I gave up on the shower stall I had-I'm with you nothing worked. I bought grout paint and two years later it still looks good. I had the really obvious because it was the half inch wide seams with 12" square tile. It was orange, grey and green. They patched when ever it needed it with what ever color was on hand. I did a light tan and it looks like a new shower. Buy the cleaner for it as well to really get the grout clean if there is an area where cooking grease may have been. Mine was in the shower and covered with soap scum. I got mine at Home Depot.
Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If you can get it clean, you might want to consider painting it. I used exterior paint and then sealed mine about 14 years ago, still looks good. Also, many companies make a grout paint pen I saw on Amazon recently.
There is a grout paint at Home Depot. It is opaque and non porous. Easy to clean and you can change the grout color if you like. It is easy, but time consuming. Look on You Tube for tips on how to use it.
Hi Terry - This is the shower cleaner that we use to help keep grout and tiles clean and minimize the mildew - it works on kitchen grout too. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
