How do I chalk paint and decoupage an old secretary desk?

Using chalk paint is easy least. Just clean your piece really well first, and spray a little water on your brush to make it glide better if you find it’s too thick. They make beautiful rub on transfers these days, like Redesign with Prima and Iron Orchid Design’s. So those are options as well as decoupage.
