I think you may not be happy with the results. Cabinets don't have inset doors. You can buy hidden hinges and a hinge tool to make european style doors. Usually these don't require cutting the doors, but drilling for the new hinge kit.
If the doors are flat panel doors you probably can. If they have a decorative edge all around....maybe. You would need to measure the opening then the door so when you do cut no edge remains and you have about the thickness of a nickel gap all around to make them inset.
