How to strip an old beveled ,leaded glass window?

Several coats of paint, red, green and white. There is a base coat of something sticky and black. Think it could be a creosote sealer. Keeps gumming up my sander. Want to clear stain when stripped.

There is a product at Menards called 2 Minute stripper. Wear gloves and do it outside. Good luck with your project!
Have you tried paint thinner? I have used Klean Strip Deglosser to remove stuff and it works great! I bought it at Home Depot.
I agree with using a stripper if it is that gummy for sander. Tractor Supply carries Rutland Creosote remover if it is actually creosote. Seems strange that someone would use that on a window. May be just old oil paint or old stains gum up sandpaper.
