How can I get my dog to stop chewing wood patio furniture?
Can not keep anything on patio that is not metal because the dog will chew wood and anything with a cushion. Please help ( training classes are too expensive).

Buy some chewy toys at the dollar store.
Is it still a puppy in teething stages? Train yourself! Just be sure there are no underlying medical issues. I have Bitter Apple that worked with my most recent rescue. Need a photo? Many people get pets and never bother to take the time to train them. Big mistake. The dog needs regular exercise and play time, then they are less likely to get bored and chew or dig.
My house and yard are small by most American standards. Today with temp of 105°+, I have my 3 dogs, my next door neighbors 3 dogs and my ex hubby is out of town, so I have his 3 dogs. Plus 6 cats and a canary and a dragon. If the animals were not trained, this place would be utter chaos. All but 2 that have health issues had a good long walk at 6 am this morning followed by breakfast and a quick run through the sprinklers to cool them down some. Nobody fights, nobody digs, nobody chews. Dogs just want unconditional love and to please you. The time you spend training will be well worth it in the long run. Here are some things you might consider to try.
