How can I fix cloudy drinking glasses?
Many of my glasses have a foggy glaze on them probably from the dishwasher. Is there any way to bring back the original shine?

some times the haze is from the detergent used-the powered stuff tended to coat the glasses, I would try a liquid dishwasher detergent and run the machine with very hot water
Soaking glasses in vinegar will help. The vinegar dissolves the hard water deposits.
In the dishwasher, using a rinse aid will help prevent future buildup. Open the little lid next to the soap dispenser in your dishwasher and fill with rinse aid. Usually you can fill it about once/month.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely try it next time.
If the fog on your glasses comes from the dishwasher there is not a way to bring back the original shine as the glass has been etched.
If they are actually etched, there's nothing you can do about it. Etching is tiny scratches in the glass. If it's hard-water stains, try vinegar.
I will try vinegar. Thanks for your help.
