This back door is in an old mobile home that is now between the home and the lanai. Can't replace door as it is custom size.
Have you tried blackout curtains? If you don't want to completely black out the sun, you could try an opaque privacy film on your windows.
Lined drapes work great and can be pretty affordable depending on what you choose. We also like roll up vinyl shades for rooms we want really dark. :)
You can add a window tint, similar to what vehicles have. If you can find one that is static cling rather than adhesive, I would go that route.
You could try blackout shades. You can get good ones at JCPenney's or less expensive ones at Wally World. Shades not only keep people from looking in, but they also cut down on the heat of the sun coming in.
Exterior mounted electric window shades are other option.
