If you have cleaned with soap and water to no avail due to build up, then your answer is best answered from the auto shop. This will clean it and not harm the cabinets. I will include a photo. Use just a small bit and in just a small area (maybe 4 inches by 4 inches) and let it soak in. For this I remove the cabinet door to lay it level so it will soak and not run off. After it soaks ten minutes or so, scrub with old toothbrush. Wipe off and repeat as needed. This WILL remove any build up. Meguiar's Hot Rims all Wheel cleaner.

Use Dawn dish soap. It will cut through most grease.

  • I use TSP substitute mixed with water in a spray bottle and a rag, works effortlessly.
