There are a number of products on the market you apply to lips that will help dry lips. Chap stick, Burt's Bees..these are 2 that come to mind, they treat the symptoms. There may be an underlying medical cause for dry lips, so I would suggest seeking medical help to figure out what that might be.

Apply Vaseline at night before bed
Hello there, Use Vaseline, Chapstick or lipstick, or any cream on your lips.
Plain old Vaseline will work well. Apply each night at bedtime.
Use petroleum jelly/Vaseline.
Redcatcec has a good point that the cause may be medical, such as allergy, or an internal deficiency of something inside the body.
If any of the remedies suggested here do not work for you, then you ought to seek medical attention.
Another consideration is that sometimes 'home mixes' for various remedies do not stay homogenized, and become rancid very quickly.
