How can I re-glue dovetail corners that are crooked?
I have an antique oak desk. One of its deep main dovetail drawers was glued a little crooked, so it is difficult to push in and out. Out of concern for breaking the wood, how can I carefully remove the glued dovetail corners so I can re-glue it together squarely. Everything, drawer glides, etc., is wood. Thank you

Phil,
Check this out. You may need to only soften the glue to be able to clamp it square and then let the glue dry again.

Try a blow dryer on the corner to melt the glue then carefully try to pry it away keep using blow dryer till it softens so you won’t crack wood
You could also just get a wood plane and shave the side that sticks
Do you want to use a sander on it, instead of risking breakage?
It sounds like you’ll be able to see the wear marks on both the drawer & the inside of the desk.
Most glues don’t like heat or humidity. Steam it using a damp folded rag/washcloth and an iron. Be careful to keep the rag wet, to not scorch the drawer.
