Bleach.
White vinegar will kill the mold spores while chlorine bleach will not. Once you kill the mold, then start cleaning. You can start with Lysol Power Bathroom Cleaner in the blue spray bottle is great for removing soap scum. Scrub with a power scrubber, magic eraser, or scrub daddy. If that's not sufficient, Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle.
Wet & Forget Shower for weekly maintenance to prevent having to scrub in the future, but not safe for marble.
This is good for anything in the bathroom:
Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again. Use this mixture a few times a week. It will keep your grout and tiles clean. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.
Vinegar cleans mold without harsh chemicals quite nicely. Let it air dry for best results.
Hi Tiffany - There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
