How do I remove baked-on grease?
My small alum tray in the toaster oven has baked on grease and scrubbing it rubs off the finish. Any ideas?

Soak it in Dawn and hot water. Then try rubbing off with an old rag.
Ann: you could just cover it in foil
We had this same issue and what Scarlet recommended works...fill the sink or a bowl with hot water and Dawn (the blue one) and drop it in. Let it soak and the grease should rub away without damaging the finish.
Try putting it in a pan on the stove big enough to sit in water let the water boil add a little dish soap and rub off with a spachula it will come off
