Cleaning Kitchen Cabinets
If really greasy- try sudsy ammonia.
You want to use oil to cut grease? If you want to clean the grease off you need a degreaser like dish detergent, TSP or Awesome cleaner from the Dollare store that is a degreaser. Adding oil will not cut the grease. Coconut oil will add more oil to the wood. Clean the cabinets then use coconut oil on them to condition them.
I agree with Em. The best thing on kitchen cabinets is to be pro-active. Clean them weekly.
