What does she watch on tv? Does she have a favorite toy, game or movie? Use this as your party theme!
Take the colors of the theme for party goods (plates, cups etc) and decorate with balloons (cheap and fun)...have the guests dress up like the characters and film a movie video or set up a theater to watch a short one.
Face paint using the theme..two year olds have a short attention span so do lots of action things like dress up and parade in costume...sing silly songs....decorate cupcakes....do an easy scavenger hunt to find hidden party favors...have fun!
Here are brilliant 2-year-old birthday party ideas.
I think opening boxes is the best part for them (and making a mess), at that age.
if you’re going to give party favors, give each kid their own big box to open with lots of bright tissue paper inside each big box. Somewhere in there is their party favors.
maybe a little dancing? Advanced walking skills are new & thrilling to two year olds
make sure that all kid guests have a parent or guardian there. Put that in the invitations. When my kid was small, some parents dumped their kid at my kid’s party and I had to essentially babysit their kid, on top of my 30 other things to do at the party. Not cool, not cool at all.

Two Sweet or Two Much for a theme, unless she has something that she loves like a character or a show.
Think of the activities that she loves.
Would she enjoy unwrapping or should you go with bags?
Consider your guests.
Most of all, don't stress. Your expectations are much higher than anyone else's.
Most of all: Get tons of photos.
