To to Facebook and look at "World of Chalkpaint and decoupage" they have a section on how to paint cabinets, and what paint to use.
You don't want to paint the cabinets? You are wanting to paint some furniture? Chalk paint is really fun. I have even used it in my paint sprayer for chairs. It makes it easy to cover the spindle-y legs. If your table and chairs are a dark stain or paint now be sure to add a primer first. You aren't supposed to have to with chalk paint but I have found that it works much better if you do. You use less chalk paint and it goes on better.
You should try to coordinate the colors in the rooms on your first floor. It's impossible to look at the cabinets and decide the colors for the table and chairs without seeing the colors you have in the rest of the rooms. So if you haven't already decorated those rooms i suggest you do that first. Then the kitchen will be easy. You just make it all coordinate.
I love that. It sounds beautiful. Your kitchen floors are already gray so I don't think you need to bring more of that color in to the space. So you could paint the table cream and some of the chairs blue and some teal. Or any other combination of the three colors would work fine.
Thank you. I was thinking blue as well. I always doubt my self. What color do you think for the hardware on the cabinets?
